CLASS TRIP

Class Trip is a short fiction film based on a story by acclaimed author Victor LaValle. The story captures the fear and confusion experienced by 15-year old Anthony as he falls in love for the first time - with the much-older Trisha, 16.

Class Trip has received funding from New York State Council on the Arts and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and will screen for youth audiences including teen members of Planned Parenthood and Lower Eastside Girls Club.

Class Trip is to be shot on location in New York in November 2009.

"The Parliament of One" explores US-UN relations through the testimonies of some of the world body's most well-known public voices.

BETTY BANGKOK

A Governess Films Production directed by Lovisa Inserra.

The film is about a Vietnam veteran and his friendship with a 10-year old street kid "Betty Bangkok".

Scheduled for production in Thailand early 2010

Governess Linda Slater is shooting and Emma K Dixgård of Red Sister is producing.

Betty Bangkok has received development support from The Swedish Film Institute.

MYTH OF THE MOTHERLAND

MYTH OF THE MOTHERLAND is a new documentary film and spoken word poetry initiative which follows young writers/poets as they embark on a creative writing journey through diverse African countries to meet with African scholars, writers, artists and others to address myths and biases about the Mother Continent.

Throughout the months of March - June, the filmmakers and poets of MYTH OF THE MOTHERLAND will be participating in screenings and performances of their own original work to help build support and funding for the project. Please show us some love by inviting friends and coming to our various events.
