World Refugee Day is the United Nations designated holiday geared toward increasing awareness about refugees and internally displaced persons. It is celebrated on June 20th every year and focuses on different themes. The 2003 theme is "refugee youth." Additional information can be found at www.worldrefugeeday.info.
